Edwin Slager

Edwin studied Dutch Law at the University of Amsterdam.
Following several years of gaining working experience in the legal field at a major credit insurance company, he became a lawyer in 2007. He became partner of Schuit Polak Van den Hout Advocaten in 2013 and after that partner of Van Emstede & Slager Advocaten, where he practices as a yachting lawyer in the yacht building and water sports industry.
As a yachting lawyer Edwin focusses on contract law, in particular the legal fields of construction law, purchase law, insurance claims and litigation law. He conducts a substantial legal practice in the Dutch courts.
Edwin is a partner of HISWA-RECRON and a member and co-founder of the European Yachting Lawyers.
