Rachel is a Solicitor in our Litigation Department having joined the firm in 2016. Rachel graduated from the University of Limerick with an LLB (Law & European Studies) Degree in 2007 and a LLM in 2009. Hailing from Athlone, she qualified as a Solicitor in 2013 having completed her traineeship with a leading Dublin law firm.
Rachel has a particular interest in Alternative Dispute Resolution and holds a Diploma in Arbitration from UCD. Rachel specialises and has significant experience in both Plaintiff and Defence Personal Injury and Insurance Litigation and in cases involving Employer’s Liability, Public Liability and Road Traffic Claims in the District, Circuit and High Courts. Rachel also has a keen interest in Employment Law and heads up Tormeys Employment Law Department. She has considerable experience advising both employers and employees across a wide range of areas including Wrongful and Unfair Dismissal, Redundancies, Business Acquisitions, Transfer of Undertakings, Service Agreements, Collective Redundancies, Redundancy Packages, Discrimination, Bullying & Harassment and Stress at Work.
